Passionate Road Biker will have at their disposal, 7 routes that wind in the Ampezzo territory: in addition to historical Dobbiaco-Cortina, thera are the Giro del Comelico, the route Cortina-Canazei, the Giro dei 6 Passi, the Giro di Badia e Pusteria, the Giro dell’Agordino and the Giro delle Tre Cime di Lavaredo. Road bike lovers will have endless fun on the routes of the Giro d’Italia, with the Tour dei Passi, every day for seven days a different bike tour with departure and arrival in Cortina for a total of 700 km.
Also the Lunga Via delle Dolomiti is the bike path that winds along the route of the former railway that connected Calalzo di Cadore, Cortina and Dobbiaco. Highlighted by a slight slope trough the Parco Naturale delle Dolomiti d’Ampezzo.
TRENOBUS of the Dolomites: The train links Venice to Calalzo di Cadore, from July the 26th to September the 6th, and has 120 seats and the possibility to carry 32 bicycles. It starts from Venice Santa Lucia at 7.50 and arrives in Calalzo at 10.25. Then it starts from Calalzo at 17.15 and arrives in Venice Santa Lucia at 19.40. Train stops: Mestre, Mogliano Veneto, Treviso Centrale, Conegliano, Vittorio Veneto, Santa Croce del Lago, Stazione per l’Alpago, Ponte nelle Alpi, Longarone-Zoldo.
